In a heavy bottom pan, mix sugar and water and bring to a boil until foamy and thick. Remove from heat. Add powdered cashew, cardamom powder. Stir briskly until mixture is smooth and even. Turn out on a greased tray. With a clean knife cut diagonally to form diamond shaped pieces.
